Alta Group, a 2018 RH 25 multiconcept operator led by Daniel Patterson, is moving into new territory with the opening of Alta Adams on Oct. 11. Located in Los Angeles’ West Adams neighborhood, the concept is the San Francisco-based hospitality group’s first restaurant in Southern California.
Patterson tapped Los Angeles native and Locol vet Keith Corbin to lead the culinary direction of Alta Adams. The two had previously worked together at the opening of the original Locol location in Watts, another Los Angeles neighborhood, and at both Locol and Alta Group restaurants in the Bay Area.
Alta Adams’ adjacent coffee shop — Adams Coffee Shop — also marks something new for the operator. The concept, which debuted earlier on Oct. 3, is Alta Group’s first independent coffee shop
