INGREDIENTS:1 cup chopped onion

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 quarts vegetable or chicken broth
2 quarts water
3 cups (10 oz.) textured soy protein
2 cups brown rice, uncooked
2 tsp. oregano leaves, dried, crumbled
1 tsp. thyme leaves, dried, crumbled
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground pepper
2 quarts diced tomatoes, canned
