While there were plenty of exciting restaurant openings throughout the year, the end of 2018 brought several notable restaurant closures, including celebrity chef hotspots and longtime neighborhood eateries.
These restaurants are shutting down for a variety of reasons, from scandals and natural disasters to the inherent pressures of the competitive industry.
