10 to 15 leaves fresh mint
ice cubes
to taste, simple syrup
to taste, lemon juice
¼ cup apple juice
1/3 cup rum (dark or white)
4 green apple slices
as needed, sparkling water
In a tall glass, using a muddler crush the mint leaves, lemon juice, simple syrup and one green apple slice. Add ice cubes, then the apple juice and rum. Stir well, then top off with sparkling water. Garnish with green apple slices.
