The RH Power List

Readers select their favorite chefs

Read on to see who you and your fellow readers have told us are worthy of wider recognition.

Every year, Restaurant Hospitality’s editorial team selects unique chefs who we think are worth highlighting in our Chef Power List.

But of course we also like to know what our readers think, so we put out a call to our audience to nominate the chefs in their community, or across the world, who they think deserve special recognition.

There are no specific criteria; they just need to be chefs. But many of you pointed out your favorite chefs’ community involvement or focus on sustainability. Some are longstanding veterans in the industry, like Michael Mina and Troy Guard (Denver really loves Guard; he got more nominations than anyone else), others have worked for years at chain restaurants or in onsite dining. Most are simply local chefs who have won a following for their hard work and focus on making their customers happy every day.
