Southern Peanut Growers Chefs’ Recipe Contest
Deadline: Dec. 31, 2014
Submit your most tempting peanut recipes featuring at least 1/3 cup peanuts and/or peanut butter as an ingredient. Open to professional chefs, educators and culinary students, the competition categories include appetizers/bar snacks, salads/side dishes, entrees and desserts. The competition’s most recent Grand Prize winner is peanut and tomato “pesto,” created by executive chef Fortunato Nicotra of Felidia Restaurant, NYC.
National Turkey Federation’s Turkey on the Menu Annual Awards
The National Turkey Federation has named City Barbecue, headquartered in Dublin, OH, as the recipient of its 12th annual Turkey on the Menu (T.O.M.) award in the fast casual category.
