Late-night fare has gained popularity with many restaurants rolling out menus specifically for the after-10 p.m. crowd. With some restaurants staying open as late as 4 a.m. in some markets to serve food, the trend shows no signs of stopping.

Some restaurants, like The Mockingbird in Nashville, Tenn. and Second Bar + Kitchen in Austin, Texas, have specific late-night menus, while others, like The Mermaid Cocktail Bar + Lounge in Los Angeles, simply extend their hours for those who enjoy eating into the wee morning hours.
