Long before they became household names, Restaurant Hospitality declared Emeril Lagasse, Jose Andres, Todd English and Mary Sue Milliken all Rising Stars. And long before anyone knew what an Iron Chef is, we put the spotlight on several as Rising Stars, including Bobby Flay, Michael Symon, Jose Garces and Marc Forgione.
In 2022, Restaurant Hospitality featured seven Rising Stars in the culinary space, including a general manager expanding his distillery, a Top Chef fan sharpening his focus on Afro-Latin cuisine, and a first-generation American working with his family to develop recipes for dishes usually made from memory.
