Guac Like an Egyptian

From: Lauren Katz, winner, ABC’s Great Holiday Baking Show. Yield: 4 servings.

2 large ripe avocados, diced
1 Persian cucumber, finely diced
2 scallions, finely sliced
1 tbs. harissa
½ lemon juice and zest
½ tsp. za'atar spice blend or dukkah

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mash approximately half the mixture and combine with the chunky other half. Serve chilled with toasted lavash or pita bread.
