On Sunday, Wienerschnitzel will treat moms to a free Chili Dog Meal, consisting of a chili dog, a small side of French fries and a small drink. The quick-service chain is based in Irvine, Calif., with 325 units.
The New York City bar will offer a presale on its new Afternoon High Tea service for $30 per person on Sunday. The package includes the choice of two organic teas and three courses on a tiered tray. The first course features rosemary-olive oil scone, honey butter and apple marmalade. The second course includes traditional English-style finger sandwiches with combinations such as cucumber and cream cheese, and smoked salmon with dill and crème fraiche. The third course is a chef’s choice of assorted desserts.
KFC has a history of clever and humorous marketing moves that grab the media attention. For Mother’s Day, the quick-service brand is going all out with Chippendales dancers reimagined as the Colonel. Fans can go to chickendales.com to send their mom a personalized video of “a shirt-ripping, finger-lickin' performance cooked up by a troupe of hunky KFC Chickendales,” according to KFC chief marketing officer Andrea Zahumensky. KFC is based in Louisville, Ky., with more than 22,000 locations.
This Tao Group concept in Los Angeles will open for service early at 12 p.m. on Sunday to offer one-day-only dishes, such as the $19 Fortune Cookie Blueberry Pancakes from new chef Yoshi Kojima, until 10 p.m.

Uchibā in Dallas will serve special brunch dishes on Sunday, starting at 11 a.m., an earlier service time. The restaurant will offer items such as the Pork Katsu Rice Bowl with a fried egg, kimchi caramel, negi and furikake.
TCBY will treat moms across the country with a free small cup of frozen yogurt, up to the first six ounces, on Sunday. The yogurt chain is based in Broomfield, Colo., with more than 300 stores.
The Hollywood and Santa Monica, Calif., locations of Stella Barra Pizzeria, a concept from Chicago-based Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, will offer Mother’s Day brunch with dishes such as the Breakfast Pizza on Sunday starting at 11 a.m.
In celebration of Mother’s Day, Bojangles’ will offer its Heart-Shaped Bo-Berry Biscuits through the weekend, May 10 to 12. The quick-service chain is also offering fans the chance to win their mom a wonderful gift for the holiday — a Caribbean cruise for two. To enter, participants must upload a video or a photo and describe how their mom makes life flavorful at the brand’s website. Bojangles’ is based in Charlotte, N.C., with over 750 restaurants.
