Last year we created this contest knowing that a call for entries would demonstrate just how talented you folks are at crafting cocktails. We were not disappointed. Let’s do it again. Strut your best stuff. We love cocktails; you know how to make them. It’s a match made in heaven.
Here’s how the contest will work:
RH editors will select the Top 12 Best Cocktails in America. It doesn’t matter what type of cocktail you enter. What does matter is creativity.
A traditional, straightforward cocktail—as good as it is—will not make the cut. We want to see something different, something interesting, something delicious.
We can’t travel all over the country and taste every cocktail entered (as much as we’d like to try). We’ll narrow down entries to a manageable list of contenders and then we’ll hit the road to see if your cocktail is the real deal.
Here’s what we need from you:
• A photo of the cocktail
• The name of the cocktail
• The name and location of your restaurant
• The creator’s name
• Inspiration for the cocktail
• Price
• Key ingredients
• What makes the cocktail special
• What others (journalists) are saying about the drink
