SIX15 Nog

From: F&B director John Keiser, SIX15 Room, Minneapolis. Yield: 1 serving.

1 oz. Christian Brothers VSOP Brandy

1½ oz. Appleton Jamaican Rum

2 egg yolks

½ cup heavy cream

1 tsp. vanilla

dash of cinnamon

dash of nutmeg

3 drops Angostura Bitters
 

Heat the cream almost to a boil, then slowly add cream to the egg yolks while whisking vigorously. Place mixture over very low heat until it starts to thicken. Add remaining ingredients, mix and pour into a mug. Top with 3 drops of Angostura Bitters. This can also be served cold; use the same procedure and chill. Serve chilled drink in a martini glass rather than a mug.
