The quick-service operator has brought back its Turkey Sliders and sweet potato fries. The limited-time sliders — made with all-natural, white-meat turkey — comes in two varieties: The Bistro Turkey Slider, topped with a tangy bistro sauce, and the Cheddar Apple Butter Turkey Slider, topped with smoky cheddar cheese and cinnamon apple butter. As a deal for customers, White Castle is offering the Seasonal Sampler — two Bistro Turkey Sliders, six Original Sliders and a side of sweet potato fries for only $7.99 at most locations. White Castle is based in Columbus, Ohio, with around 400 units.
The new Los Angeles location of NoMad from Make It Nice, a 2018 RH 25 multiconcept operator, is celebrating its first Thanksgiving with a $59 prix-fixe menu. The holiday meal will include a choice of honeynut squash soup or puntarelle salad and a choice of roasted turkey breast or NoMad’s famous whole-roasted chicken with black truffle for an extra $20. The restaurant will serve sides, such as stuffing and crispy Brussels sprouts, family-style for the whole table. As a sweet finish, NoMad will offer an apple cobbler with brown sugar crumble and vanilla ice cream.
At Bullion, which debuted in Dallas last year, executive pastry chef Ricchi Sanchez is baking nine-inch pumpkin pies and pecan pies for those who pre-ordered. There will also be a select number of these desserts available for guests to pick up last-minute on Nov. 21. Each one is priced at $30.
The Brazilian steakhouse chain will keep all of its locations open throughout the holidays, with seasonal additions including roasted turkey breast with au jus, housemade cranberry relish, Brazilian sausage-and-apple dressing and sweet-potato casserole. The casual-dining operator is also offering a new à la carte item: a 32-ounce Tomahawk Ribeye. Fogo de Chão is based in Dallas with over 50 restaurants.
The Los Angeles spot, a concept under 2018 RH 25 multiconcept operator Tao Group, will serve a special Thanksgiving dinner menu on Nov. 22 from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. The holiday spread includes takes on classics, like chicken and Granny Smith-apple stuffing seasoned with fresh herbs for $10 and broccoli-cheddar macaroni and cheese topped with Sicilian bread crumbs for $10.
The family-dining brand will be open on Thanksgiving and will offer a variety of Farmhouse Feast heat-and-serve options for customers to pick up, starting at $49.99 for four people. The meal includes slow-roasted turkey or hickory-smoked ham, or both protein choices, bread-and-celery dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with ham, macaroni and cheese, cranberry relish, rolls, pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie and double-crust apple pie. Bob Evans Restaurants is based in New Albany, Ohio, with more than 490 units.
This beer hall, with five locations in New York City, is serving a festive Thanksgiving Day Sandwich during the month of November for $16. The special sandwich contains all of the classic flavors of the holiday: cranberry sauce, turkey, roasted vegetables, stuffing and gravy.
The fast-casual operator has different Thanksgiving options to help customers out with their feast this year. Guests can order chilled, pre-cooked meals, which include entrees, appetizers, sides and pies for four to 12 people, for pick-up at any Boston Market restaurant during the week of the holiday. The menu items are also available to purchase separately on an à la carte basis. In addition, the chain is offering holiday catering for 10 or more people, starting at $10.49 per guest. The catering can be delivered to any home or office, or picked up at a restaurant. Boston Market made its holiday spreads available for delivery throughout the continental United States to those who pre-ordered on its website. Nearly all of the chain’s locations will be open on the holiday for dine-in guests as well. Boston Market is based in Golden, Colo., with more than 450 locations.
This Chicago concept from 2018 RH 25 multiconcept operator Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises will have a prix-fixe dinner menu on Thanksgiving from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The holiday special, priced at $55, includes dishes like Beef Wellington.
Another Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises restaurant, Shaw’s Crab House, will offer carry-out sides and pies for customers to enjoy at home. The Chicago concept’s options will include mini-crab bites, cocktail shrimp, lobster macaroni and cheese, pumpkin pie and key lime pie. Guests can order pies by Nov. 20 and sides by Nov. 21 for pick-up by Nov. 22.
Through the end of November, Salt & Straw is selling its Thanksgiving-inspired ice cream flavors: Sweet Potato Casserole with Maple Pecans, Roasted Cranberry Sauce Sorbet, Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey, Spiced Goat Cheese & Pumpkin Pie and Roasted Peach and Sage Cornbread Stuffing. For each pint of these flavors purchased, the ice-cream chain will donate one to local charities working to end hunger. The November flavors are available at Salt & Straw’s 16 scoop shops, including its newest one in Downtown Disney in Anaheim, Calif.
This six-unit chain from Front Burner Restaurants L.P., a 2018 RH 25 multiconcept operator, has a take-home version of its namesake dessert available through Dec. 24 for $55. The nine-by-eleven-inch whiskey cake comes with bourbon crème anglaise, toffee sauce, spiced pecans and whipped cream.
This Greek restaurant in New York City will serve a three-course, prix-fixe menu on Thanksgiving for $65 per guest. The holiday feast will include Greek twists on the classics, such as turkey moussaka. The fine-dining concept’s regular à la carte menu will also be offered.
