New-York based David Chang is partnering with Nike SB to introduce a shoe dressed in dark denim similar to that of Momofuku’s aprons. The chef has been a Nike fan since 1987 and sees similarities between skate and food cultures. The shoes will be available June 22. (Nike)

A Muslim restaurant owner in Galveston, Texas, is closing the doors after months of alleged harassment. In late 2016, Asad Khan said he arrived at ZaZa Bar & Bites to find the storefront covered in bacon and bacon grease, and the harassment has escalated into death threats since. (Houston Chronicle)
Feeding America, a network of food banks, has developed a platform called MealConnect. Businesses can upload information about their excess food, and select a date and time for it to be picked up. An algorithm matches them with a partner organization, and someone then drives to collect the food. (Fast Company)
