Scallion Pancake Pizza
Fóumami, Michael Wang’s Asian sandwich restaurant in Boston’s financial district, has launched a virtual brand called Makeboluo for which the restaurant’s scallion pancakes are being used as a base for pizza, available for catering or delivery from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., after Fóumami closes, via third-party delivery services.
As with all pizza, it’s customizable, but curated combinations include
Five Spice BBQ: Five-spice marinated grilled chicken, Asian barbecue sauce, basil, tomato sauce and mozzarella
Soseji: Sesame-soy pork sausage, sambal chile sauce, cilantro, tomato sauce and mozzarella
Thai Chicken: Red bell pepper, peanuts, Sriracha sauce, cilantro, tomato sauce and mozzarella
Kewpie: Ginger-soy chicken, water chestnuts, edamame, pickled kewpie mayonnaise sauce tomato sauce and mozzarella
Price: Starting at $19, plus $3 per topping; curated pizzas are $26
