Ready to boost productivity? Here are five apps to help you out.
No more scouring the Internet to see what people are saying about your restaurant. ReviewTrackers is a dashboard that lets you monitor all your guest reviews in one place. Restaurant owners and managers can also receive notifications when reviews are posted on all of the major review sites, including Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, Google+ and others.

IF, developed by IFTTT (“If This Then That”) is a productivity app that lets you connect and control more than 250 different apps in one tool. (And more partner apps—most recently NestCam—are being integrated regularly.) It allows you to create thousands of “recipes” that automate your business and personal life. The recipes are commands you store in the app: For example, you can choose that IF you share a status on Facebook, the app THEN shares it on LinkedIn. You can automatically save your favorite tweets to clipboards like Evernote, set it up to notify your staff when you arrive at a given location, or turn down your thermostat when you leave the house. There are thousands of customizations available.

Trello looks a lot like Pinterest, but it’s actually a portal where you can create job lists, and within them, task cards to share with your staff. You can drag and drop cards between lists to show the progress of a particular project: Did the plumber arrive and install the new sink? Your assistant manager can drag that task from the “to do” to the “done” list. Users can add as many people and as many lists as they like and see everything about any project just by glancing at the board, which updates in real time. You can add checklists, labels and due dates and upload files from your computer, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box and OneDrive. Notifications let you know when things are happening.
