Here’s a tool that can help your guests stay safe and make responsible choices. The name might be confusing, but the Cautoh app allows imbibers to calculate their blood alcohol content (BAC) using an algorithm to provide a BAC estimation based on an individual’s physiology and ingested drinks.
Cautoh’s newest version includes U.S.-friendly imperial units of measure (ounces, etc.) alongside the app’s original metric units. The app also calculates how long a user will have to wait to return to a normal BAL—or whether it’s time to call an Uber.
An optional accessory, a wireless Bluetooth-enabled pocket-sized breathalyzer features an "advanced semiconductor alcohol sensor" for a highly accurate measure of BAC.
