The Miami Beach, Fla., restaurant will extend its brunch, making it available throughout Labor Day weekend. The menu will include such dishes as sweet corn pancakes with pork belly, poached eggs, pickled green-tomato relish, tomato jam and Fresno chiles for $18.

The quick-service chain will launch the return of its seasonal Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat on Labor Day. By downloading Dairy Queen’s new mobile app, fans can enjoy a free small Blizzard Treat of any flavor, including Pumpkin Pie. The operator will also offer a limited-time Burger & Blizzard deal, with a choice of a DQ Cheeseburger or KC BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and a choice of a mini Blizzard Treat for $4. Dairy Queen is based in Minneapolis with more than 6,800 stores across the U.S., Canada and more than 25 other countries.

As a summer special for August, the New York City “barlour” debuted its Malibu Rum Swirl Sundae — a coconut cup containing Strawberry Beach and Pina Colada sherbet infused with Malibu Coconut Rum and topped with rainbow sprinkles, tropical Swedish Fish and strawberry lollipop. The limited-time treat, priced at $10.99, will only be available through Labor Day weekend.

This Labor Day weekend, the quick-service operator will give out a free 3.5-ounce sample of its Pumpkin Cheesecake Cappuccino Blast. Guests can enjoy the sample of the seasonal flavor on Sept. 2 from 3 to 7 p.m. at participating locations. Baskin-Robbins is based in Canton, Mass., with more than 8,000 stores across 55 countries.

For Labor Day crowds looking for something to grill on the holiday, the Chicago butcher shop, cafe and market is offering pre-marinated Pork Country Ribs, a staple at its full-service restaurant counterpart, The Publican. The ribs, a recipe from executive chef and partner Paul Kahan, use marbled shoulder blade chops rather than a traditional slab of ribs. The chops are marinated in tamari, Chinese mustard, palm sugar, ginger, garlic, cilantro, scallion, Sambal hot sauce and sesame oil.

Glass & Vine in Coconut Grove, Fla., will serve its weekend brunch menu on Labor Day as well, offering items such as the Carbonara Fries with black truffle crema, bacon and Grana Padano cheese for $12.
