This Is No Way To Handle A Customer Complaint

Joseph Milano, owner of Goomba’s Pizzeria in Palm Coast, Fl, was recently charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and released on bail. According to police reports and security footage at the pizzeria, Milano pistol-whipped a customer who complained that his takeout order for a calzone was incorrect. Milano allegedly jumped over a counter to assault the customer and his roommate. The victim was treated at a nearby hospital and released.

Milano’s method for handling the complaint could not be supported by any textbooks on customer service we scoured. The good news, however, is that customer complaints about calzone orders have dropped off dramatically at the pizzeria.
