Survey: More than half of food workers come to work when sick

More than half of food workers come to work sick, despite the health risk they pose to fellow workers and the food system, according to a recent survey by the Center for Research and Public Policy.

This data is according to a report called “The Mind of the Food Worker,” based on a survey in July of about 1,200 people who work in the food industry. The survey was commissioned by Alchemy Systems, a consulting and technology group that works on food and workplace safety issues.
