Armani Ristorante, a fine-dining Italian restaurant from fashion designer Giorgio Armani, is offering a new seasonal menu under the leadership of chef Michele Brogioni. Patrons visiting the dining destination, located at the designer’s Fifth Avenue store, can enjoy dishes such as Sottobosco, or “soft forest.” The menu item, a celebration of wild mushrooms found on the floor of a forest, features a selection of mushrooms including king trumpet, oyster and cremini, served sautéed, pickled, dehydrated, raw and fried. The mushrooms, along with black truffle, are set on a base of chanterelle mushroom pudding and topped with a Bufala ricotta foam, reminiscent of a gentle snowfall in the forest.
