Badovinus says of the meaty menu: “It’s very primal, very forward, very honest and laid bare, but very rich and decadent,” Badovinus said. “It’s kind of metaphoric of that first bite into a great piece of meat.”

The aquarium contains hundreds of fish and a minesweeper that was manufactured in Holland. “It’s remote controlled and developed in post-World War II to be a submersible, tether-based minesweeper. This one was decommissioned in 1991,” Badovinus said.

Badovinus said a spirit of shared experience is a big part of Town Hearth, emphasizing warmth, fun and a sense of community. “I don’t know that you can get more opulent than a beautiful crystal chandelier and more primal than dead animal with salt and pepper cooked over fire,” he said. “We wanted to create a room where everyone looked and felt fantastic.”
