Delicious Hospitality Group entered the New York City dining scene with Charlie Bird, a seasonal, Italian-influenced restaurant with a sophisticated wine selection and a pumping soundtrack.
The restaurant group has since opened a handful of establishments that embrace their signature mix of spunk and service, such as Legacy Records, a Mediterranean-forward restaurant that's also home to two private dining rooms, an all-day café and a wine and cocktail bar.
What do all Delicious' ventures have in common? "In the past, I think many of us in our field looked at hospitality as what happens only in full-service restaurants, but that was a bit short-sighted as hospitality moments happen all around us,” said partner and chef Ryan Hardy. “At DHG, we are most interested in looking at areas where we think we can make a substantial difference in the experience for the guest."
DHG has some national and international projects in the works, said Hardy, and they're ready for the challenge having already proven themselves in NYC. "New York is, without a doubt, the toughest restaurant city in the country, if not in the world."
