Beer me
Celano Design Studio, IPSA Corp., Mercadito Hospitality and Tippling Bros. recently opened Tippling Hall, reminiscent of a classic beer hall with weathered yet warming design elements.
We all eat
Celano Design Studio worked with José Andrés and the ThinkFoodGroup team to design America Eats Tavern at The Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, VA. The 65-seat space was designed to be engaging and reflect Andrés’s energetic and edgy approach to cuisine. It also features a 10-seat bar.
Creating a concept
Detroit-based Kraemer Design Group recently completed the architectural and interior design for a new bar concept called Beer Grotto.
Distressed design
Reminiscent of a classic beer hall with weathered yet warming design elements, Tippling Hall offers global comfort food and late-night dining.
Like a boss
Buddy Valastro worked with Celano Design Studio to create an Italian-American restaurant concept--Buddy V’s Ristorante at The Venetian, Las Vegas--reminiscent of the Sunday dinner atmosphere at his grandmother’s house.
Prepping for growth
The tasting room and bar at the first Beer Grotto in Dexter, MI, opened for business this summer. Owners credit its early success largely to the inventive design, which they plan to replicate at future locations.
Part of the community
The 5,000-square-foot Tippling Hall boasts communal tables, thick overhead beams and plaster artwork.
Authentic Mexican
Mercadito Counter in Chicago was designed by Celano Design Studio to incorporating modern and rustic elements with some traditional Mexican accents. The design was inspired by the food concept from the Sandoval brothers: a mash-up of Mexican-American street food meets deli counter.
Keeping fresh
Keeping up with how people interact is very important in restaurant design, says Vincent Celano of Celano Design Group. “As a society we evolve so our experience and the spaces we interact in also evolve,” he says.
Mixed mediums
At Mercadito at Red Rock Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Celano Design Studio infused Mexican artistry and craft into a swanky look that maintains a contemporary aesthetic with an industrial feel.
The local flavors
Design at The Hamilton Kitchen & Bar in Allentown, PA, was inspired by the location and historical elements of Pennsylvania, blending light industrial elements with a warm comfortable approach.
