The Tex-Mex restaurant chain El Chico will usher in the festivities with new margaritas, including an 1862 ‘Rita, made with tequila, margarita mix and melon and orange liqueurs, topped with a tequila-infused gummy worm. The special drink menu is available through May 5.
During the five days leading up to the holiday, those who dine at a Margaritas restaurant and mention “Cinco Days of Goodwill” to their server will get 20 percent of their bill donated to a local Goodwill chapter. The restaurant will also offer $5 margaritas and different $5 food special each day from May 1 through May 5. Select locations will host outdoor parties with live music and giveaways on Cinco de Mayo.
Beachgoers in Stone Harbor, N.J., can party during the Mexican holiday with Buckets’ live music, a selfie station, custom t-shirts and drink specials — $2 Miller Light drafts, $5 Bacardi drinks and $7 classic margaritas.

On Cinco de Mayo, this seafood spot in Chicago will serve half-priced grilled cod and sesame seared ahi tuna tacos during lunch and all-day $4 micheladas, or Mexican beer cocktails.
This Los Angeles sports bar will celebrate the holiday with special dishes and beverages, like the Boracho Nachos and the Tipsy Hermano cocktail, through May 7, and have live mariachi music on May 5. Those with a sweet tooth can also enjoy The Morrison’s Cinco de Mayo dessert, ice cream with churros.
The Manhattan location of this Italian steakhouse will host its first Cinco de Mayo Rooftop Fiesta on May 5. Guests who purchase tickets, priced at $68 each, will enjoy a night of custom margaritas, Mexican beer and tequila, wine, appetizers and desserts, as well as a chance to win prizes from a piñata.
This San Diego restaurant will offer a festive drink menu on May 5. Guests can enjoy cocktails at $10 each, like the Es Una Fresa, a tropical mezcal drink topped with Jarritos strawberry soda.
