Both menus will be priced at $75 per guest, or $200 per couple with a bottle of Cremant de Bourgogne Brut, a sparkling wine.
The Los Angeles restaurant is embracing the anti-Valentine’s day spirit by offering chocolate and booze to those who plan on celebrating the holiday at home. For $36, customers can enjoy a to-go box with a mini-bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue, an individual-sized dark chocolate cake with layers of hot fudge, salted caramel buttercream and cacao nib brittle, and cardamom sugar cookies.
In addition to its annual tradition of offering a Valentine’s Day dinner, the quick-service chain is making the experience available to enjoy at home through delivery the first time on Thursday. The first 10 delivery orders for the package deal at over 330 participating stores will come in custom-designed “Love Castle” Crave Cases. Priced at $20, excluding tax and delivery fees, the meal includes 10 Cheese Sliders, one set of 20 Chicken Rings, two small soft drinks, two desserts on a stick, an LED candle, a set of Valentine’s Day cards, conversation hearts and a bag of heart-shaped confetti that can also be planted to grow flowers. White Castle is based in Columbus, Ohio and has nearly 400 locations.
The nine-unit fast-casual chain, based in San Francisco, has a deal designed for couples celebrating the romantic holiday. With the purchase of two or more entrées, guests can get two free desserts. The deal is redeemable through Sunday.
For the 12th year running, the family-dining chain will host a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner with white tablecloths, candles and special menu items. Waffle House is based in Norcross, Ga., with 1,900 restaurants.
The seven-unit doughnut shop will bring back its lineup of Valentine’s Day doughnuts Thursday through Sunday at its locations in Oregon, Texas and Colorado. Customers will be able to treat themselves or their loved ones with festive menu items like the Conversation Hearts — Bavarian cream-filled doughnuts dipped in colored vanilla frosting and decorated with words in white icing.
Starting Thursday through Saturday, the fast-casual eatery will offer new Sweetheart Mimosas and $3 off premium bottles of wines. The chain will also place heart-shaped strawberries on all desserts. Bellagreen is based in Houston, Texas, with eight units.
The casual-dining restaurant is serving up a Date Night Duo through Sunday. The special, which costs $13.99 per guest, includes the choice of the brand’s signature fried green tomatoes or Southern artichoke dip as an appetizer, and the choice of either an eight-ounce slow-roasted prime rib or a nine-ounce grilled salmon as an entrée. Either entrée comes with a side item of the patron’s choice. O’Charley’s is based in Nashville with approximately 200 locations.
The Boston spot is giving a shout-out to Galentine’s Day on Wednesday by offering the Bestie Bowl — a 51-oz. tropical cocktail for two or more. The drink is made with dragon fruit-strawberry rum, spiced rum, guava juice, passionfruit, orgeat syrup, lavender bitters, mint and starfruit, and garnished with dragon fruit. Friends can order the beverage through Saturday for $35.
The sandwich chain is doing something special for single people on Valentine’s Day. Anyone who comes into a location without a significant other on Thursday will get any cookie for free with the purchase of an entrée-size sandwich and salad. The choice of cookie includes the chain’s red velvet cookie, available for a limited time. Potbelly is based in Chicago with more than 450 stores.
The five-unit New York beer hall concept is marking the occasion with the Heart on Fire pretzel — a giant, heart-shaped pretzel with a coating of spicy Doritos. The limited-time offer is served on a hanger and is available for $14 until Sunday.
At its California and Texas locations, the full-service burger concept will have a special for sweethearts on Thursday: a two-for-$20 deal on nearly everything on the menu, including cocktails. Patrons will be able to get two of the same item or two items within the category. Slater’s 50/50 is based in Los Angeles with 12 units.
Through Thursday, the quick-service chain is serving heart-shaped Bo-Berry Biscuits. Bojangles’ is based in Charlotte, N.C., with over 750 units.
The casual-dining restaurant will make any pizza available to order on a heart-shaped crispy thin crust at no additional charge Wednesday through Sunday. The chain will also bring back its Sweet Deal for Two prix-fixe menu. The set deal includes the choice of an appetizer, two entrées and a dessert for $35. California Pizza Kitchen is based in Los Angeles with more than 250 locations.
Fonda, with three New York locations, will offer several dishes inspired by the Mexican celebration of the holiday, also known as El Día del Amor y la Amistad (The Day of Love and Friendship). Customers, whether they be lovers or friends, will be able to enjoy menu items such as Camarones Apasionados — grilled shrimp with passion fruit, guajillo adobo sauce and a sweet potato-pineapple mash — for $27.95.
Datz in Tampa, Fla., plans on soothing those without a special someone on Single Awareness Day this Wednesday. The restaurant will play songs by English artist Adele all day and serve a Lonely Hearts menu with themed dishes such as the Heart Breaker — fried chicken hearts on skewers.
