Moringa is growing in popularity due to its reputation as an adaptogen — a substance that helps balance the body’s metabolism and thus helps reduce stress. As consumers increasingly look to foods and beverages that can do something for them, adaptogenic ingredients are becoming more central to the concept of “functional eating.”
Moringa is in the Inception stage. It’s considered a premium ingredient that can be found on mostly fine-dining menus and at ethnic independents.
