Best Practices Conference digs into workforce issues

Session topics range from sustainable sourcing to employee benefits

Attendees of the recent Global Best Practices Conference in Plano, Texas, participated in sessions on topics ranging from sustainable sourcing to employee benefits.

The conference, sponsored each year by the Dallas-based data analytics company TDn2K, also honored Panera Bread Co. with its Diamond Catalyst Award for superior operations and workplace results, and BJ's Restaurants Inc. with its Heart of the Workplace Award for investments in employees and the communities where it operates.

The conference was co-chaired by Denny Post, CEO of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc., and Carin Stutz, COO of the Greenwood Village, Colo.-based burger chain.
