Tazo® Tea Deal
Starbucks Coffee Co., PepsiCo, Inc. and Unilever entered a licensing agreement for the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of Starbucks' Tazo® Tea ready-to-drink beverages, including iced teas, juiced teas and herbal infusions, in the U.S. and Canada.
General Mills: New GM
General Mills has named Sheila Gallagher general manager, Convenience Channels. She is responsible for General Mills' business in the Convenience Store, Vending and Non-Food Retailer segments, as well as the company's Restaurant Accounts business segment.
New Advance Pres.
Advance Food Co. named Mark Allen president. The announcment follows the recent opening of a new 225,000-sq.-ft. Ready-to-Eat manufacturing facility. Advance manufactures beef, poultry, pork, lamb, veal and bakery items for foodservice.
Land O' Lakes Agency
Land O' Lakes Foodservice selected Schafer | Condon | Carter, a Chicago-based marketing firm, as its new agency of record. The agency's contract includes execution of strategic planning and integrated marketing communications across all segments of the foodservice industry, with the goal of increasing visibility and sales.
