Sex always sells. This year themes focus on the movie “Fifty Shades Darker,” which debuts in February.
Yamashiro Hollywood, for example, is teaming up with the TCL Chinese Theater to reward 200 diners with a complimentary screening of the movie. Diners choose from two four-course menus (one vegetarian), and finish with a fortune cookie that could contain a “Fifty Shades Darker” winning fortune.
On the other side of town in West Los Angeles, Tuck Room Tavern is teaming up with iPic Theaters in a similar promotion. Tuck Room will offer a six-course “aphrodisiac dining experience” with libido-enhancing foods Feb.10 through Feb. 14. During Valentine’s Day weekend, guests that purchase the limited-edition Sweet Heart Chocolate Cake Push-Up Pops, created by guest chef Ron Ben-Israel, or The Seductress cocktail, crafted by master mixologist Adam Seger, will receive a complimentary lace masquerade mask from iPic Theaters for the viewing of “Fifty Shades Darker.”
