INGREDIENTS:SUGAR COOKIE DOUGH:
1 pound unsalted butter
1-½ cups granulated sugar
2 egg yolks
2 tsp. vanilla extract
4 cups all-purpose flour
pinch of salt
as needed Kooky Paint (see below)DIRECTIONS:For sugar cookie dough, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks and vanilla. While mixture is creaming, mix flour and salt and add to butter mixture. Chill dough several hours before rolling out. Roll into desired shapes. Cut each shape into several pieces that fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. Bake at 325°F for approximately 12-14 minutes.
For Kooky Paint, mix together corn syrup and food colorings to make separate batches of different colors of paint.
For service: Place 1 kooky cookie puzzle on a plate or platter along with small ramekins of 3 different colors of paint. Serve with a small plastic handle paint brush.SERVINGS:variesFrom:Disney Institute Culinary Programming Chefs
