¾ oz. simple syrup
1 oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. rye whiskey
1 oz. Campari
4 to 5 seedless grapes
Lightly muddle grapes, lime juice and simple syrup in a shaker. Be gentle—bruise but do not abuse. Add rye and Campari, then shake with ice. Strain into a chilled double rocks glass over a rock. Garnish with three grapes on a spear.
